Effective January 1, 2024, California’s minimum wage will increase from $15.50 per hour to $16 per hour for all employers, regardless of size. Please keep in mind that certain cities and counties in California may have a higher minimum wage rate, in which case employers in those areas must use the higher of the two rates.
