As you know, starting January 1, 2026, Oregon employers must comply with new requirements under Senate Bill 906. In addition to providing an itemized pay statement with every wage payment, employers will now need to give new hires clear information about earnings and deductions and update this information on an annual basis.
To assist employers, the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) has created a template notice in English and Spanish that can be adapted to meet these requirements. Employers can deliver the notice in several ways:
- Electronically
- By posting it in a visible location at the workplace
- By providing a printed copy
- By including it in the employee handbook
