EEOC Issues Guidance on Providing an Accessible Workplace

Noting that individuals with disabilities need access to accommodations in order to participate fully in the workplace, the EEOC has issued guidance on providing an accessible workplace. The guidance includes information on providing access to buildings, facilities, and physical spaces, as well as access to information. The guidance also provides employers resources to help them comply with various relevant federal laws, such as the Architectural Barriers Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
