FAQs for Minnesota’s Sick and Safe Time Law

As you know, Minnesota recently enacted a new, state-wide sick and safe time law. Generally speaking, an employee who works at least 80 hours in a year for an employer in Minnesota is eligible for sick and safe time. The state has now posted a helpful FAQ concerning the law, with information on a variety of subjects such as coverage under the law, use of sick and safe time, rates of pay, and recordkeeping requirements.
