As you know, in order to provide equitable protections for individuals with criminal history seeking opportunities for gainful employment in unincorporated areas, Los Angeles County passed a Fair Chance Hiring ordinance earlier this year, which became effective September 3, 2024. The County has now issued a required workplace poster concerning the ordinance. Every employer must post the notice in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site within unincorporated areas of the County of Los Angeles where any worker works.
