California has updated the workplace poster for the state’s Healthy Workplace/Healthy Family Act. The new poster includes additional qualifying reasons for sick leave that were added to the Act in 2025, including leave for certain court-related reasons and for certain violent crimes.
To comply with the Act, employers should confirm that the updated poster, dated January 2026, is displayed in a location where employees can easily read it.
